The
Living Well seminar
evolved out of Andy's work as a
Naval Officer where he began providing financial advice
to the sailors under his command. He realized the
importance of strong financial management in the lives
of the sailors and their families and the impact it had
on their job performance. He later modified his seminars
to include "life management" with the intent to
promote self worth and
cultivate joy in an increasingly
stressful and "me oriented" society.
Working in Washington DC, Andy witnessed the seductive
nature of power and money, and began to teach the
concept of altruistic
egoism -- when doing something for
the good of others actually improves your own life.
The seminars had an amazing impact on his staff.
Within 6 months, he saw a complete reversal in squadron
performance. People were happy, motivated, and
felt a sense of self worth.
The Living Well
message is especially relevant to
America's current economic crisis and on our ability to
cultivate joy in the midst of everyday life. We
all need to feel good about life again. |

Andy's goal
with the
Living Well seminar is to
impact the hearts of the audience with the
significance of
making a difference in
the lives of others. This simple concept,
focusing on
what really matters in life,
is the key to true happiness and joy.
By focusing on caring about others, one’s
own life improves. Life
is all about leading and living from the heart
... whether in the workplace, school, church,
your neighborhood, or home.
The subject matter is based on Andy's book,
Living Well ... Making
a Difference, and draws
from documented studies, insights from various
publications, and personal stories that support
the message.
Subjects could include happiness/joy,
relationships, personal financial management,
materialism, aging, motivating employees,
patriotism, driving habits, random acts of
kindness, stress relief, leadership tools,
hospice experience and the brevity of life.
Making a
difference is the true
essence of living well. Andy stresses the point
that every
human being has significance.

 The
Living Well
seminar
can be 30 to 90 minutes in length, and is adaptable
to fit your schedule. The full seminar is 90
minutes, with a short break in the middle.
Target audiences include
all genders, incomes and social levels. From soccer
moms to CEOs…from teenagers beginning their lives to
those nearing the end ...
you can still make a difference
on your Hospice bed. The message is about maximizing
any person's remaining heartbeats.
To attest to my passion for helping others,
I will donate a significant portion of my honorariums to a local

"I know some wonderful,
well-adjusted, wealthy folks, and I know some equally
wonderful, well adjusted poor folks. They share a
common trait -- no matter the
size of their bank account, they have kind hearts and
genuinely care for
others.”
